Finally Back...

Well, it's about time to get back to the blog. I have been thinking it for some time, but all the activity around here with youth group has kept me pretty busy! Thats a good thing!! I am going to make it a priority to get here at least once a week from now on. We have been busy around here getting ourselves back in order and re-creating this awesome group of young Catholics. So many good ideas and plans for the future. Mostly we are staying focused on being strong, loyal Catholic youth in this crazy place called life. I am truly blessed to be able to work with such a great group of teenagers. When I look at them I see hope for the future...not only "out in the world" but for our beautiful, wonderful Catholic Church! When so many things seem to be going crazy out there, it is a joy to come together on Sunday nights and be energized with the spirit they all carry with them everywhere. I am not sure that this is what the blogspot is supposed to be, but when I start talking about our kids I just can't help myself. They really made me proud on Wednesday night at the "Look Who's Coming to Dinner" event with their amazing answers about what the Mass means to them! Hope...that is the word I will stick with for now. And that is such an amazing thing!
