March for Life

The December 2nd deadline for the March for Life
is coming up fast! Be sure to get your application
in soon. Call Mrs Roth for more info 893-6424 ext112.

Forms are available at the Parish Center office.

More fundraising is being planned to help with the cost
which is $175. This includes your transportation/room/food
and a shirt.

Trip dates are: Jan 21-23rd

I'm very sad to tell you this - but I am stepping down as Youth Ministry Coordinator at St. Stans because of my Mom's health issues.
You will be in the good hands of our friend Mary Roth!
She has been an important part of Youth Group for a long time!
I know she will lead you on a great path with Jesus!

in Washington, DC marking the
37th anniversary of Roe v. Wade

January 21st - 24th

Depart: 7am on Thursday January 21st from the
Center for Ministry, Saginaw

Cost: $175 per person—quad occupancy
(covers transportation, lodging, 3meals)

St. Stan’s Youth in 8th—12th grade are encouraged to attend the March.

Adults and students 18 years or older

must have completed Virtus training to participate in the trip.

Service Opportunity at the Parish Picnic

Youth Group members the Parish Picnic is this Sunday -Sept 20th.
We are looking for teens to help do the childrens activities
(face painting, games, coloring, etc).

All are welcome to help anytime between 12 and 4pm.

SERVICE OPPORTUNITY - Food for Faith

Here is a great chance to get some Community Service hours
and help others . . .

St. Stan's Christian Service and Youth Ministry
are participating in the Food for Faith program on Sunday August 16th.

This is a shared program that feeds the homeless and indigent
every Sunday afternoon at Trinity Episcopal Church (911 Center Avenue)

Every Sunday different organizations and Parishes take turns
preparing and serving the meal.
This is the same organization that puts on the Thursday night dinner
that we did last fall - just on a little bigger scale for Sunday.

Youth are needed to help with set up at 2pm
serving beverages 3pm-4:30pm
and clean-up at the end 4:30-5:30

Come for any or all -Adults are welcome too!

Thirsty Thursdays

I hope that you will come join us in Fun Faith Filled activities! During the summer months there will be ‘open nights’ where the Youth Ministry Room and gym will be open for social time (Thirsty Thursdays 6pm—8pm, July 16th, 23rd and 30th, August 13th and 27th), and ‘movie nights’ with Eddie Dwyer our resident seminarian (select Friday evenings TBA).

Volunteer Opportunity

High School students here is a great chance for volunteer service
in our Community.
Friday July 24th through Saturday August 1st a neighboord Mission Project will take place.
Sponsored by Habitat for Humanity, Paint & Pride, and the City of Bay City.

Workers are needed for painting, light repairs, and landscaping.

It will be simple, yet profound and to keep in mind that we are going to DC not just as a little vacation...but to mourn our horrifically murdered brothers and sisters.
